An elderly woman and her daughter were hospitalized Sunday night after a floor collapsed under them in the subterranean mall of the Marco Polo Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach.The 15-foot-wide hole, seven feet deep, opened into an empty area under the hotel structure.The resort at 19201 Collins Ave. passed a building inspection recently, according to the property manager Victor Sala.
